What to Expect

If you’re going to the Dominican Republic to get closer to nature and explore the jungle, this excursion in the depths and heights of the rainforest is what you’re looking for. You’ll have a chance to meet and interact with jungle monkeys, as well as soar through the trees with a number of different zip lines, high in the Punta Cana canopy.

Begin your day of adventure with convenient hotel pickup around 8:00am. With your group, climb into a safari-style truck and take off into the Dominican countryside, bound for the zipline facility. The ride takes about 45 minutes.

At the Welcome Center, our expert canopy guides will teach you all you need to know about the course and the equipment in a safety briefing. Your instructor will outfit you in harnesses and helmets and you’ll receive a safety briefing before climbing to the first of 18 platforms offering 12 zip lines. Fly across the sky from one platform to another on these zip lines that range in length and height, including one that’s more than 2,600 feet long! In all, you’ll travel more than a mile on zip lines, enjoying the 360-degree jungle views at every turn.

Continue your tour with a visit to the Coconut House or “Casa del Coco” to learn how coconut oil is produced and taste fresh organic products such as exotic Caribbean fruits, roasted coffee and cacao.

Next, take a tour of Monkeyland and interact with friendly squirrel monkeys. Monkeyland is a beautiful 5-acres park home of two groups of charming and intelligent squirrel monkeys. These charming and intelligent monkeys have been raised by a Canadian couple and enjoy human company. Here you will interact for 45 minutes in close proximity with these adorable and friendly monkeys.

9:00 - 11:00 AMZipline over 12 lines between 18 platforms in the jungle

Enjoy the zip line adventure, traverse from platform to platform in the forest across 12 lines and 18 platforms. You will fly across a mountain range two miles long, set side by side so that you can zip with a partner. Guided by expert instructors, these are two of the longest lines in the Caribbean. Enjoy pure adrenaline and unparalleled panoramic views over the Anamuya river.

The tour guide will give an explanation about the coffee, cacao and different fruits. After this, you will have an opportunity to sample of fresh coffee, chocolate and fruits, and also a chance to purchase local products.
